Felicitations

Dearest Readers,

Merriam-Webster defines vintage as:
a : a season's yield of grapes or wine from a vineyard (2) :  wine; especially :  a usually superior wine all or most of which comes from a single year
b :  a period of origin or manufacture

Since I am allergic to wine (well not allergic as much as you give me wine and I will tell you everything that I am not supposed to tell you) I spend most of my time working with definition b.

Why buy new when you buy something with history.

My personal love is the 1920's. This blog as well as my open etsy shop (opening soon) was name for my personal hero Lois Long who wrote for The New Yorker under the pseudonym Lipstick and as the epitome of a flapper.

Every week I will try to teach you about vintage clothes and jewelry.

Sincerely,
Lipstick
